This morning I’m reading through 95 Theses of Geek Activism and Eric Raymond’s The Cathedral and the Bazaar. Every word I read makes me think about opensource church. I will have to put all those thoughts into writing soon. Should I do it as one big piece or let it run for a while and then pull all the pieces back together?

Hey Dydimustk. I look forward to reading what you have to say about opensource church. I’m a fan of the “opensource” model. It seems compatible not only to computer software, but to democracy and religion. I need to read Eric Raymond’s book, it is on my large list of books to read.
Are you familiar with Douglas Rushkoff? He wrote a book about his views on opensource Judaism called “Nothing Sacred”. Another one on my to read list.
Sweet, I gotta find that book. and I’m gonna have to start a WritersNotebook for this opensource project. I think I want to try to be a little bit intentional about it, rather than just drop a quotation here and a thought there.
BTW, in case you haven’t found it already, Douglas Rushkoff’s website can be found at rushkoff.com. He has several books that are worth reading. One I actually have read is Coercion. Not directly related to opensource, but good non the less.
