A Heartbreaking Truth

There is no explanation for the damage we have caused to this planet other than we still desire to be our own gods. We run around trying to convince God and ourselves that we are capable of running things on our own–in-fact, we can do them better. Meanwhile, we are destroying the only creation He has given us. While I have hope because my home is somewhere other than this planet, I ache for those who do not have that hope, and I ache for Christianity’s inability–unwillingness rather–to be good stewards of creation and of life.
