missing out

If you haven’t checked out the conversation going on at Riley’s, you’re missing out. Scotty and Dave have great things to say. Here’s my latest reply:

Hey Scotty –
I totally agree with what you’re saying about these links, these people, these connections being that community. And I’ve been helped immensely by these connections. I guess what I’m looking for help figuring out is how we shift these connections into a community of people “committed to living this way.”

What I’m trying to say is, that I enjoy going through a liturgy of hours… but I miss doing that in community. I’m missing the accountability and support of a community “committed to living that way.” I enjoy the community and devotion and fellowship of my blogging friends. But I miss the dedication to regular and expectable times to connect with those people.

You and riley get to hang out soon because the southside isn’t that far away. It’s a long ways away for me (TwinCities, MN) but I would love to connect with you and riley. I’m just wondering if there is a way for people separated by miles of dirt yet connected by seconds of wires can be committed to living in liturgical community?

Now get on over there and give your two cents.
