   You can argue faith. I’ve seen it done.

   You might mean something like: “Arguing (for/against/other word/maybe nothing) faith is a fruitless endeavor.”

   I really don’t believe you can argue faith. Maybe you can argue about faith, or argue about topics related to faith. But faith is faith.

   You can’t argue faith. You can tell someone that you love them but you really can’t prove it…just like you can’t prove (argue) faith.
