    I never considered the possibility that withholding my opinion could be pass-aggressive behavior. But now that she mentions it, I realize I have felt the negative effects of having an opinion withheld.

    I try to be direct in all things, though I’ll choose my words or contextualize my opinion to make interactions as positive, supportive, and engaging as possible. I’ve seen and experienced too much fallout from other folks not being frank to be willing to include that tendency in my own life.
