Inspiring model of developing OKRs

For myself and for my company, I have been trying to learn more about developing OKRs (Objectives and Key Results). Two interesting concepts in the process are,

1. The Key Results part ensures that any goals (objectives) have a very specific way to measure the success or failure of those goals.

2. We should aim for the stars to hit the moon… i.e. it is ideal, on average, to hit around the 70% mark on our objectives.

Anyway, today, I ran across the Millennium Development Goals on Wikipedia. It is some nice context for me while working through my own goals to remember that there are some groups which have worked on much bigger, audacious, and yet measurable goals.
